The reason I started The Corridor Law Blog is to promote and facilitate discussion between the members of the Iowa Bar, specifically those attorneys within the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor. The Iowa State Bar Association does a pretty good job of bringing people together who practice in similar areas, but the listserve conversations are generally restricted to those who pay to join a certain Section.
Because of the nature of the blog, I will be the one controlling the topics for discussion, but I will be happy to entertain topic suggestions from anyone. I may ask guests to post to the blog at times, too.
My hope is that this will become a central discussion board for attorneys who practice in the 6th Distrcit of Iowa. In addition, I intend to include court schedules and information regarding events around the corridor.
